Our Story
Experienced Glaziers on Every Job
Jared Pigott founded Affordable Frameless Shower Door on a simple idea: the result depends on the people who measure and install the glass. Our installers are experienced glaziers who carry half-inch panels weighing well over 150 pounds, notch glass around benches and pony walls, and set doors on glass-to-glass hinges and CWM clamps. If a shower isn't ready for glass, for example a floor without enough slope to drain, we tell you before we measure.
Measured for the Finished Opening
Every enclosure starts with a field measure after the tile is finished. We check walls for plumb, record curb and tub-deck lines, bench and niche positions and the route for carrying heavy glass in, then specify the glass thickness, hardware and configuration for that exact space. An 8-foot Starphire enclosure in Del Mar and a bench-notched door in El Cajon start the same way.
A Family-Run Company
Affordable Frameless is family-owned and operated. Our office team handles your quote and scheduling directly, installers confirm their arrival time, and we explain the finished door, its hardware and its care before we leave. Free quotes by phone, email or in-home visit: 800-587-2373.
Glass, Hardware and Finishes
We work in 3/8" and 1/2" tempered glass, including low-iron Starphire and Opti-White, frosted privacy glass and EnduroShield coating. Hardware comes from manufacturers such as CRL, FHC and US Horizon, in finishes from matte black and polished nickel to satin brass and unlacquered brass.
